Guest Stay Agreement
Thank you for choosing to stay with us. To help keep our woodland safe and enjoyable for everyone, all guests are asked to read and agree to the following terms before arrival.
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with these conditions throughout your stay.
1. Fire Safety
I understand that, due to the woodland setting and current fire risk, all open fires are strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Campfires
- Fire pits
- Disposable barbecues
- Charcoal barbecues
- Fireworks, sky lanterns and any other naked flames
I understand that failure to comply may result in my booking being terminated immediately without refund if there is a risk to people, property or the woodland.
2. Woodland Safety
I understand that this is a natural woodland environment with uneven ground, exposed tree roots, slopes, ponds and wildlife.
I accept responsibility for my own safety and that of everyone included in my booking.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.
3. Respect for Other Guests
I agree to respect other guests by keeping noise to a reasonable level, particularly between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am.
4. Looking After the Property
I agree to treat the yurt, furniture, equipment and surrounding woodland with care.
I accept responsibility for any damage caused by myself or members of my party beyond normal wear and tear.
5. Smoking & Naked Flames
I understand that smoking, vaping, candles, incense and any other naked flames are not permitted inside the yurts or woodland areas.
6. Dogs
Where dogs are permitted, I agree to keep them under control at all times, clean up after them and ensure they do not disturb wildlife or other guests.
7. Vehicles
I agree to drive slowly on site, follow any instructions regarding parking and only use designated vehicle areas.
8. Personal Responsibility
I understand that I am responsible for my own personal belongings throughout my stay.
Yurtcamp Devon accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless caused by negligence.
9. Right to Terminate
I understand that Yurtcamp Devon reserves the right to ask guests to leave without refund where behaviour places people, wildlife, property or the woodland at risk, or where these terms are seriously breached.
Declaration
I confirm that:
- I am over 18 years of age.
- I have authority to accept these terms on behalf of everyone included in my booking.
- I have read and understood this Guest Stay Agreement.
- I agree that all members of my party will comply with these conditions throughout our stay.
